XPENG reaches 4,000 cars sold in Denmark – sales continue to rise

Electric car brand XPENG is experiencing increasing interest in Denmark, where 4,000 cars are now on the roads. At the same time, sales are growing globally with high delivery rates.

Less than a year ago, the first Danish XPENG customer received their car. Since then, sales have grown rapidly, and now the car manufacturer has delivered car number 4,000 in Denmark.

XPENG customer number 4,000 is receiving the keys to his new XPENG G6 today. This marks an important milestone for the brand, which has established itself well among electric car buyers in Denmark.

XPENG has gained popularity in particular due to fast charging and comprehensive equipment at fair prices.

At the same time, the brand has challenged the perception of Chinese cars with test drives, where potential customers have the opportunity to experience the driving characteristics for themselves.

Test crosses drive XPENG's growth in Denmark

XPENG has registered over 3,000 test drives in Denmark in the first months of the year. According to Christian Kynding, Country Manager for XPENG in Denmark, it is important that customers get a real experience behind the wheel.

He believes that many people gain a new perspective on the car brand when they test drive the cars on the roads.

XPENG's business model combines competitive prices with comprehensive equipment packages. Customers receive, among other things, a long factory warranty and access to some of the fastest charging technologies on the market.

The best-selling model in Denmark is the XPENG G9, but the newer G6 has also seen its sales peak. A recent campaign has boosted demand, with a G6 Standard Range being offered for under DKK 300,000.

XPENG focuses on simple equipment structure

XPENG has chosen a simple approach to optional equipment. For the G6 model, there are only two options: an alternative color for DKK 8,000 or a towbar for DKK 8,900. The latter gives a towing capacity of 1,500 kg.

The car brand also offers one of the longest new car warranties on the market. All models come with a 7-year or 160,000 km warranty, whichever comes first.

Globally, XPENG's sales have been growing. In 2024, over 190,000 cars were delivered, with almost half sold in the last quarter of the year.

The trend continues in 2025, with XPENG having already delivered over 60,000 cars in the first two months of the year. This indicates a continued increasing demand for the brand's electric cars, both in Denmark and internationally.
