XPENG hires press manager at Bil Magasinet

Mathias Brandt, who until recently has been writing at Bil Magasinet since 2008, has agreed to take on the role of press manager at XPENG Denmark. His first task will be to be responsible for the PR launch of XPENG's new major venture, XPENG G6.

XPENG Denmark continues to expand the staff of competent employees. The latest addition is Mathias Brandt, who took up the position of PR Manager on 2 April. Mathias comes from a background as a journalist at Bil Magasinet, where he has worked since 2008. With a broad interest in cars on the Danish market combined with first-hand experience from the industry, Mathias is looking forward to fashioning his old journalist colleagues in a new way.

"I look forward to using my background as a journalist at Bil Magasinet to develop XPENG's PR strategy on the Danish market. I have a relatively good understanding of the journalists' needs, and combined with a broad knowledge of cars, I am sure that together we can move XPENG's PR efforts to an even higher level."

Many things have happened since XPENG started up in Denmark back in 2022. In 2023, XPENG delivered 654 cars to the Danes. In the course of the first quarter of the year, things have also gone strong and thanks to a fantastic welcome by XPENG G9, over 400 cars have already been delivered in the course of the first three months of the year.

In just 9 months, XPENG as a new brand has completed the first 1000 deliveries in Denmark. Just around the corner awaits the official launch of the XPENG G6, which XPENG also has high expectations for. It is therefore important to further strengthen PR and marketing efforts.

Joachim Hummel-Gryholm, Marketing Manager at XPENG Denmark says about Mathias Brandt: "We are super happy to have an experienced expert like Mathias Brandt on board at XPENG. The first days have already passed and he is already lobbing faster than the charging speed of a G9. It is clear that his in-depth industry and product knowledge will be valuable to us already. I look forward to seeing how our PR efforts will develop over the next period with him at the helm and he will undoubtedly take it to a new level.”

In addition to acting as a traditional press manager, Mathias will eventually also have to be one of XPENG's internal product experts and contribute actively to the further localization of the products. In addition, it will also be quite natural with his background that he contributes with both content and text production.
