XPENG G6 wins major award for technological innovation

The XPENG G6 has been named "Technological Front Lober of the Year" at the Auto Awards 2024 in Copenhagen.

XPENG G6 has just received the title "Technological Front Lober of the Year" at the Danish Auto Awards 2024, which was held in Copenhagen.

The award recognizes the car's technological solutions and XPENG's contribution to raising the standard for electric cars on the Danish market. This is the second time in a row that XPENG has received the award, after G9 won last year.

With a focus on cutting-edge technology, the XPENG G6 has distinguished itself as one of the most advanced electric cars on the market. Among the highlighted features is the car's fast charging capability.

With a charging power of up to 280 kW, the G6 can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 20 minutes. This feature addresses one of the biggest concerns among EV owners: range anxiety.

At the same time, the G6 is equipped with advanced safety and comfort features as standard, making it accessible to a wider audience.

The prize was awarded by a jury consisting of motoring journalists, who weigh 80 percent, and the public, who account for the remaining 20 percent.

According to the organizers, the prize goes to the car that has managed to raise the technological standard the most within the car industry.

XPENG's Danish PR manager, Mathias Brandt, stated in connection with the award that it is an important recognition of the brand's focus on innovation. He also noted that the G6 is already among the 10 best-selling cars in Denmark, despite only being launched in May 2024.

According to Brandt, Danish car buyers have welcomed the car's spacious design and modern solutions.

XPENG has also made a mark on the design front. Earlier this year, the larger model G9 was awarded the prize for best design in Auto Design 2024, which took place at Auto Show Denmark 2024. This recognition cements the brand's position as a player that not only prioritizes technology, but also aesthetics.
