Won a million and bought a used car: "You're probably from North Jutland"

What would you spend the money on if you won the Lotto? A person from North Jutland quickly replaced the drums with a used car when the million-dollar win recently rolled into the account.

A person from North Jutland recently won one million kroner in Lotto.

In a flash, however, the drums had completely different legs to walk on. He says this in an interview with Danske Spil.

– We are going to travel, we are going to buy a big, nice car, we are going to have a summer house and things like that, but… when the money is in the account, you become a bit stingier anyway, it says.

So when the tax-free million was in the account, the dreams became somewhat more boring and down-to-earth anyway.

– Now I actually think it is better to leave them alone. Having a buffer is also good enough, right?

– Yes, it's fun. For the times I have dreamed of winning the Lotto, I have never dreamed of having money in the bank. It wasn't in the dream at all, he says.

However, the entire million is not left in the account. Because even though it has been used, some of it has also been used.

– We have also bought a new car. Or that is, a new used one. We are still northerners, says the lottery winner.

He also adds that he is probably somewhat more sensible with the money than he had expected. Even if he and his wife have already celebrated the win with a restaurant visit.

It is not clear from the story which used car the North Jutland man has thrown some of the lottery million on.
