Women think a Kia is the coolest car in the world

It was the Kia EV9 that won the title of Women's Worldwide Car of the Year 2024. A Danish woman has been asked.

It looks like a spaceship.

But if you ask the jury behind the award 'Women's Worldwide Car', which consists of 75 female journalists from 52 countries, the Kia EV9 is the coolest this year. Or at least car of the year 2024.

In connection with the selection, there were 63 cars to choose from, but according to the female jury, no one could beat the Kia EV9.

This is what the Danish Kia importer writes in a press release .

An electric car in Denmark costs from DKK 675,000. However, it will be even more expensive if there is only room for six, because then the Danish importer will have DKK 750,000 for the EV9.

Having said that, only one Danish woman was asked when the Women's Worldwide Car was to be found this year. This is even though there are several jury members from both the USA, China and Canada.

– The EV9 excited me with its future possibilities as a multifunctional electric car. It was hard to believe that this large, comfortable and versatile coach didn't need a tank of petrol or diesel, says Australian jury member Liz Swanton about the Kia EV9.

The car of the year, generally speaking, has also been found. With 329 points, the new Renault Scenic E-Tech beat the new BMW 5 series and Peugeot 3008. In that context, the Kia EV9 had to settle for fourth place and 190 points.
