Jonas Overgaard's first big project was this Honda CRX Del Sol, which came in second place at the DFB 2004. Here you will have a reunion with the cool Japser.
NB : Hello! We have found the article you are about to read from our friends at Bil Magasinet , who have access to the Vmax archive. Go' reading pleasure! Coming second is never fun. But the owner of this special Honda was nevertheless happy with his second place at this year's DFB. Naturally, because the competitors were top-notch and gave each other an absolute fight to the finish line. Not just the top-placed participants, but also the rest of the field. Everyone had worked hard leading up to Friday's registration, and many had not slept at all the week before. But Jonas Overgård overcame the fatigue and rolled onto the field with his newly built Honda CRX with the special Del Sol targa roof. AN 11 NUMBER FOR FINISH The car was purchased from Germany. It is here that the todor's Del Sol version is popular. Originally the car was black with small boring steel rims, but Jonas was soon to have that changed. The car rowed into the workshop and was completely stripped. Putty was his best friend for a long time. The side skirts, the holes for the main beam, the number plate and fog lamp holes, the washer nozzles, the mandrel handles, the hole for the antenna, the side indicators and much more were completely putty away. It worked hard, but the result is also an 11 – just like the rest of the car's finish. The same is the connection between the selected styling parts. American Erebuni has supplied front and rear bumpers, side skirts and rear spoiler. It's a styling kit with a raw look. See e.g. the rear spoiler. But it still suits the car's coupé-like lines very well. The rear spoiler even gives the flat rear a more harmonious appearance. Click 'NEXT PAGE' to read on
