VIDEO: There are 5 cylinders and 690 horsepower in this Skoda Superb

Jeroen has created a Skoda of those that are really far in between. Because when was the last time you saw a Superb with 690 horsepower?

No, right? But yes. It is good enough. In the Netherlands, this white Skoda Superb is driving around. Totally legal. A bit crazy when you think about what it actually is. Under the hood you will find a five-cylinder Audi engine. Yes, Jeroen's Skoda is equipped with the same grinder as the Audi RS 3 and TT RS. With the difference that the Skoda has far more horsepower. READ ALSO: Gut builds the world's first Skoda Superb RS With 2 bar pressure on the single turbo, there is 690 horsepower and a staggering 790 newton meters to come. But in fact, the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission can manage up to 950 Nm. In comparison, an Audi RS 3 has to make do with 407 horsepower and 500 Nm. You can't get a Skoda Superb with a row five. At least not from the factory. Between 2008 and 2015, however, the model was available with a 3.6-liter V6 engine and four-wheel drive. Among other things, the Danish police have such a device at their disposal. At least one that is. Today, only four-wheel drive remains. The most potent Superb year 2023 is a 2-liter turbo petrol with 270 horsepower. A little sad when we now know what space there is between the front wheels. https://www.instagram.com/p/CnsRs1kDnvS/ https://www.instagram.com/p/Cn63lnWovX4/
