Used test: Audi RS4 Avant B7 – the V8 drone from Ingolstadt

The engine revs at 8,250 rpm If you think Audis are a bit boring, you need to test drive this car. Shift down a few gears into the ultra-precise 6-speed manual gearbox, which works with just the right amount of precision and resistance. The revolutions increase violently, but there is no need to be afraid. Only at 8,250 rpm does the limiter kick in, which is a signal with a carriage rod that a gear must be changed. The sound when you hit that exact spot is so amazing and so addicting that you keep coming back for more. In contrast to the model's competitors, which could for example be the rear-wheel drive BMW M3 with a V8 engine, the RS4 is equipped with four-wheel drive. Some might think it's a bit boring, but with 420 hp from the V8 engine, you can easily have fun. At the same time, you dare to push the car much harder when you finally find an open country road.
