TV celebrity has ended up as a car dealer by mistake

Wheeler Dealers host Mike Brewer is, to a fault, back where he started – namely as a car dealer.

Wheeler Dealers' Mike Brewer has millions of fans for his prowess in front of a camera. But even though the program is officially still running, Brewer is back at the starting point as an ordinary car dealer.

And it was a mistake. Or at least it wasn't meant to be that way. But in the background of all that, of Mike Brewer's life not happening on camera, there was apparently a good offer.

– It was pure coincidence, but I bought an old Golf from a guy called James. He was very nice, and on the way home I thought he would be perfect to start a car business with, says Mike Brewer in a new video.

Incidentally, the long-time Wheeler Dealer is the same guy who recently reported that he had a car stolen. Read more about it here .

Now he is back at square one as a car dealer. Where he was before he ended up on TV. Even if he doesn't get his daily walk in the business.

– I travel a lot, but James takes care of the sales, which have exceeded expectations. We sell about 50 cars a month and Michelle helps a lot, says Mike Brewer in a new edition of the podcast published by Car Dealer Magazine.

Last year, Wheeler Dealers was also able to celebrate its 20th anniversary. All the years with Brewer as host. Which actually means that the format has survived longer on British and international TV than the much larger Top Gear, when you take the relaunch from 2002 as a point of departure.
