Toyota and BMW now confirm what Boosted has previously been able to tell – namely that the brands are expanding their collaboration on hydrogen technology.
Toyota Motor Corporation and BMW Group have announced an expanded collaboration in hydrogen technology.
The two companies will collaborate on the development of the third generation of fuel cell technology and work to introduce more fuel cell cars to the market.
This is what the Danish Toyota importer writes in a press release , which was shortly afterwards supplemented by a similar announcement from BMW.
Boosted has previously told about the plans to expand the collaboration that BMW and Toyota are currently getting out of the current Z4 and Supra respectively. Read more about it here.

In addition, the brands will contribute to the development of the necessary hydrogen infrastructure to support a society where hydrogen plays a central role.
The cooperation between Toyota and BMW is part of their joint objective to promote hydrogen as an important component in the global green transition, especially within the transport sector.
