This is what the new Nissan Leaf will look like

One of the first electric cars to truly gain popular appeal is now getting a major facelift and a completely new platform. Here is the new Nissan Leaf.

The electric Nissan Leaf is dead, and yet. Because even though the car you may know is out of production, a new one is on the way.

According to Nissan's international press center, the car will be built on the CMF-EV platform, which the Ariya SUV is already built on.

Although the two models are now technically related, Nissan will not reveal any technical details about the new Leaf. And yet.

Because we know a little about the powertrain and the car's range. According to Francois Bailly, head of Nissan's vehicle program, future Leaf owners can expect a car that can travel 600 kilometers on a single charge.
