According to a survey that YouGov is behind, one car brand in particular has a good reputation in Denmark.
They actually do it every year. Every year, the analysis company Yougov looks at how strong the various car brands are. In other words, seen from the eyes of Danish motorists. It is based on six parameters: quality, general impression, value for money, recommendation, reputation and customer satisfaction. And here we don't have to go any further than our big neighbor to the south to find the top score. According to the survey, Volkswagen is the strongest brand among Danish motorists. VW scores 29.0. The Germans thus leave a good distance to the number two on the list, the competitor Mercedes-Benz, which has to manage with a score of 24.7. Volvo follows with a score of 24.1. If the figures are to be believed, the Danes have long since forgotten diesel gate. Forgave Volkswagen or perhaps completely turn a blind eye to the matter that is still haunting . Volvo is generally strong in the Nordic countries. In the home country of Sweden, motorists place the brand in first place in a similar survey. In Norway and Finland, drivers place Volvo slightly better than in Denmark – namely in a different place. The brand that has improved the most is Kia. However, the Korean brand is still well below the Top 10. The Danish survey includes 32 car brands. But YouGov also makes a global list. And here, Volkswagen has a long way to go to the top. In fact, you are completely out of the Top 3. Only in fifth place do we find the brand from Wolfsburg. Toyota is the global favourite. Just the opposite of how things are in Denmark.
