These cars break down the most – "Everything is wrong with them"

There are only cars that you as a driver should stay far away from. At least if you ask those who offer roadside assistance.

There are horror stories among people who are employed to choir with roadside assistance. Some cars are just worse than others.

For example, it was said that the Citroen Xantia in the 1990s and early 00s was the terror of the roadside assistance because of the hydraulic undercarriage that had a tendency to walk. And when that happened, the car stubbornly laid down on its stomach.

But then there are cars that are even worse. At least according to Drive.com.au .

The site has interviewed Rob, who has cards with roadside assistance for more than 20 years, but who will only appear under anonymity. Perhaps because he puts his finger on a rather vexed point with Chevrolet owners.

Especially with those in the Cruze and Captiva models. The Captiva was an SUV that became a big hit in Denmark while the brand was still here. But the Cruze made the Danes 'joy'.

– Everything is wrong with them. The wiring breaks, batteries collapse, generators break down. Wheel bearings, drive shafts, gearboxes – you name it – everything breaks, it says.

However, Chevrolet isn't the only brand lagging behind, if you ask roadside assistance man Rob. So does Ford. Especially right around 2010 with the Focus from that time.

Here, he says, there are problems with everything from faults in the electronics to plastic parts that crack in the engine compartment. And in fact, Rob believes that you should also stay away from anything used that comes from the former Fiat-Chrysler.

According to him, the cars have so many technical and electronic problems that they are not worth the effort. And if you finally buy a used car, according to the road helper, you should take care to get a warranty with the purchase.
