After this Formula 1 season, Kevin Magnussen is in the past at Haas. However, the American Formula 1 team has not announced his replacement yet. And it can be about the money.
It is, if the rumors are true, the worst kept secret in the entire Formula 1 paddock that Esteban Ocon will replace Kevin Magnussen at Haas.
Fortunately, the American Formula 1 team has announced that they are throwing K-Mag out of the garage after this season. But it drags on with who will sing next to the new man in the garage – the just 19-year-old Brit, Oliver Bearman.
And there is a 'good' reason for that. This is what the German media Auto Motor und Sport writes now.
Although Esteban Ocon has already spoken highly of Haas, without specifically mentioning the team by name, and he himself will be kicked out of the Alpine garage after this season, there is nothing new about his future.

Allegedly, it is the Haas top in the form of team owner Gene Haas who is delaying the process. The whole thing is said to be about lon with the absolutely newest and smallest team in the field.
Auto Motor und Sport writes well enough that Ocon is almost certainly Kevin Magnussen's replacement. But the last signature on the Frenchman's contract is reportedly missing. All together to push one of the tallest players in the field (Ocon is 1.86 centimeters tall, ed.) into the net.
