The Suzuki eVitara will come to Denmark in the summer of 2025

Suzuki's first electric car, which will also become a Toyota, called eVitara, will come to Denmark during the summer of 2025, the importer believes.

There are still neither equipment lists nor Danish prices to deal with. But the importer still wants to say that the Suzuki eVitara will come to Denmark in the summer of 2025.

This appears from a press release .

Specifically, the importer writes that production will begin in the spring of 2025 and that they expect to have the first cars in Denmark this summer.

The top model gets an additional electric motor on the rear axle. This means that the Suzuki eVitera delivers up to 184 horsepower with four-wheel drive. But that front-wheel drive will also be an option with either 144 or 174 horsepower.

With a length of 4.3 metres, Suzuki's first electric car is 9 centimeters longer than the Vitara with a petrol engine, while the wheelbase of 2.7 meters is as much as 20 centimeters longer. According to the importer, it gives 'really good space both in the front and back seats'.

Regardless of the model variant, the importer only takes models with a heat pump to the country. That should – at least in theory – help the range. Especially in the colder months of the year.

The battery is either 49 or 61 kWh. And one must assume that it is the same technique that Toyota intends to use. The Japanese's next electric car in the series is to be built on exactly the same technology as the eVitera.

The range of the Suzuki eVitara is still unknown. But the Danish importer expects the official WLTP settlement to be somewhere between 300 and 400 kilometers.

The new electric car is also a necessity for Suzuki. The Japanese have to pay Volvo to avoid a series of stalls. Read more about it here .
