The next Porsche GT3 retains its manual gearbox – and then it comes to Denmark with rear-wheel drive and 510 horsepower at the end of the year.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 has been launched in connection with the model's 25th anniversary. Porsche has chosen to present two versions of this sports car: one with a fixed rear wing and a more muted Touring version. B
Both variants are equipped with a 4.0-liter boxer engine that delivers 510 horsepower and 450 Nm. A six-speed manual gearbox is available as an option.
The weight of the new Porsche 911 GT3 has been reduced so that in its lightest configuration it weighs 1,420 kg.
The airflow now glides over the car even better thanks to adjustments to the front diffuser, the optimized front spoiler lip and the modified air deflector fins. This gives the car a higher downforce and thus better cornering properties when it goes strongest.
One of the particular updates is the gearing design, which is designed to improve the experience on ordinary roads.

– The shorter gearing especially helps to improve the driving experience on country roads," says former rally driver Walter Röhrl.
His comment is supported by Jörg Bergmeister, brand ambassador and former Le Mans winner, who points out
– On the track, you have even better control with the new 911 GT3, because it delivers a better and more stable grip, especially over bumps and curbs.
Bergmeister adds that the car has a calmer ride under hard braking and generally provides a better balance in different road conditions.
These improvements are the result of fine tuning of the shock absorbers and other details of the chassis.
According to Andreas Preuninger, Head of GT Cars at Porsche AG, the new 911 GT3 has made the model more individual and customizable.
– We have ventured into a world of details and added a large number of the features that our customers have requested, he explains and emphasizes that the GT3 can now be tailored to a greater extent according to the customers' wishes.
The Porsche 911 GT3 and 911 GT3 with Touring package will be available to Danish customers later this year. More information can be found on Porsche's official website here .
