The police used weapons against a 60-year-old driver without a driver's license

– It had the desired effect, the police found, after a 60-year-old man had been arrested on Tuesday morning last week.

On Tuesday afternoon last week, a 60-year-old man had the police pepper spray felt on his own body.

The man did not want to release a set of car keys that the police demanded be handed over to Morupvej in Herning, because the man is not actually allowed to drive a car at all.

This is written by TV Midtvest .

According to the police, the man refused to hand over some of them, and when they also failed to take them from him, the police chose to use pepper spray.

– It had the desired effect, says police officer Peter Christiansen from the local police in Ringkobing about the use of pepper spray against the motorist.

A 61-year-old woman is also charged in the case. She owns the car that the 60-year-old man drove around in. And just lending your car to someone without a driver's license is highly punishable.

However, the 61-year-old woman is far from the first to get a slap on the face from the state for this kind of thing. Last September, a 64-year-old woman actually received a sentence for something similar.

Although there were several more serious cases. The woman systematically lent her cars to people without a driver's license. And she apparently didn't care that the police also impounded the cars. Read more about it here .
