The police seized the car immediately for widespread trickery

On the night of Monday, a 26-year-old man was seen behind the wheel of a car he absolutely should not have been in. This now has consequences for more than just him.

It is illegal. Nevertheless, every year there are numerous examples of drivers lending their cars to people without a driver's license.

It also happened on the night of Monday. But at 00:50 the trap sprung for a 26-year-old man from Hillerod when he was stopped on Kobenhavnsvej in Roskilde.

This is what the Central and West Zealand Police write in the police report .

The 26-year-old man's choir card was administratively revoked a long time ago. Nevertheless, it was the sixth time on Monday night that he was stopped without the choir card.

It now also extends to the 26-year-old's family member, a 65-year-old man from Taastrup. He owns the car, which he has left to the 26-year-old several times.

In fact, it has happened so many times that the police were able to impound the car that night without any problems and charge both men.

The 26-year-old for crossing the road without a front and the 65-year-old for leaving the car to him. The latter costs DKK 2,500, i.e. per walk.

The police circle will now go to get a judge to confiscate the car on behalf of the state when the case goes to court at a later date.

In Denmark's perhaps most talked about seizure case, it has already developed into a confiscation. And the owner has given up fighting to get the car back. Read more about it here.
