The new Tesla Model Y costs DKK 329,990 in Denmark

There will be no major price increases. In fact, the new Model Y will keep the price of the old one. At least initially, Tesla in Denmark informs.

The new Tesla Model Y is now available in Denmark at a starting price of DKK 329,990. The model is being introduced with significant upgrades, and government support for electric cars may help make it even more attractive to Danish buyers.

The Tesla Model Y has become a popular electric car, with production already reaching over 3.5 million units globally. The car is produced at Tesla’s Gigafactories, including the Berlin-Brandenburg factory, which has been delivering models to Europe since 2022. This local production helps support the transition to electric transportation in the region.

The Model Y has previously stood out as the best-selling car worldwide in 2023. This shows that electric cars have broad appeal and can be used in many different situations. In Denmark and the rest of Europe, the Model Y has also been very successful on the registration lists.

The new version of Model Y introduces a redesigned interior and exterior that improves energy efficiency and comfort. With new aerodynamic improvements and low-rolling resistance tires, the car achieves an even longer range. These upgrades are the result of careful adjustments that also keep costs down.

The cabin has been updated with new materials, including aluminum and soft fabric, and sound insulation has been improved. New windows and noise-absorbing materials reduce road noise by up to 22 percent. At the same time, better insulation ensures that the temperature in the cabin is kept stable.

Driver and passengers can enjoy improved seats with ventilation and electric adjustment. The rear seats offer more comfort and easier access to the seat belts. Heating is standard in both rows of seats, and the air conditioning is integrated for easy operation.

The exterior design has been upgraded to improve stability and crashworthiness. The front and rear lights have been redesigned with inspiration from other Tesla models. In addition, a new front camera has been installed for better visibility and is equipped with heating and sprinklers.

Connectivity has also been improved. Faster download speeds and better Wi-Fi coverage ensure a smoother experience with software updates and streaming. New Ultra-Wideband technology makes it easier to open the car and trunk via the Tesla app.

Rear passengers get their own 8-inch touchscreen, which provides access to climate control and entertainment. Front and rear USB-C ports provide fast charging with up to 65 watts.

The audio system has also been upgraded with more speakers and improved sound quality. The interior offers practical details such as a new center console with extra storage space and elegant aluminum details.

The new Model Y is available as a Limited Edition in Denmark. This variant, called the Launch Series, has all-wheel drive and a range of up to 568 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. The model also offers acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.

Tesla has sought to maintain the characteristics that made the car popular while building on feedback from owners with the new Model Y. It is an example of how government support and technological improvements can help promote electric transportation.
