The V8 engine is not going anywhere. At least not in the Mustang, says Ford. Now the Danish importer is ready with the prices for the latest edition.
The Mustang with a V8 engine has been part of Ford’s Danish model program since 2015. And the model will continue to do so.
Because just as Ford’s chief executive insists that the brand will build a V8-powered Mustang ‘forever’ – the Danish importer is sticking to the model.
And now the seventh generation, which has been in other markets since May last year, is also ready for the Danes.
This is stated by Ford in Denmark in a press release .

– The new Mustang is everything our customers expect from an undisputed automotive icon – and a little more. Surprising connectivity and technology take the car’s current qualities to a new level.
– And will help to win even more hearts of a new generation of Mustang enthusiasts, says John Williams, director of Ford’s combustion engine cars in Europe.
In Denmark, the facelifted Mustang starts at DKK 948,000 after the tax has been paid. For that kind of money you get a 5-liter V8 with 480 horsepower.
The version with the 2.3-liter eco-boost engine with four cylinders the Ford importer does not bring to the country at all this time.
The provisional top model with the nickname Dark Horse causes the price to climb above 1 million kroner. More precisely, the price is DKK 1,164,669.
Both the Dark Horse and the other Mustang can be ordered with a six-speed manual transmission. Although a ten-speed automatic transmission is also an option.
