The home care must take a choir course – smashes too many cars

In Hjorring municipality, the insurance company had to repair damage to the home care's cars for almost DKK 1.7 million last year.

Home care employees apparently find it difficult to drive a car. At least in Hjorring municipality.

Last year, the North Jutland municipality reported a total of 119 damages to the home care's cars to the insurance company. That adds up to a whopping DKK 1,669 million.

So now the employees have to go on a choir course with the municipality's so-called car officer. This is what the nursing home care in Hjorring Municipality tells the media.

– You shouldn't have everything else in your head when you get into the car and start driving, says car manager Henrik Frandsen.

The goal of the choir course, says the nursing home in Hjorring, is to reduce damage to cars. But it is not expected that you can avoid scratches in the paint.
