The Ferrari F80 is the brand's most expensive road car ever

The new Ferrari F80 is the most expensive new car Ferrari has ever built. Yet it only has six cylinders.

With a price of over 3.5 million euros, the Ferrari F80 is not just one of the most expensive cars on the market, but also one of the most potent.

With its 3-liter V6 engine and a total output of 1,200 horsepower, this hypercar sets new standards for speed and performance.

Although the model has only just been presented, all 799 examples have already been sold. However, for the rich and famous who hoped to get their hands on one, there is not necessarily a guarantee of a seat behind the wheel. Ferrari itself has chosen who will be allowed to own an F80.

The Ferrari F80 is the fastest street car that Ferrari has ever produced. It has taken four years to develop the car. The F80 thus joins a series of cars that the brand from Maranello only expands every ten years.

A tradition that began with the 288 GTO in 1984, followed by the F40, F50, Enzo and most recently the LaFerrari in 2013. Now the F80 takes over as the crown jewel of Ferrari's model range.

The car is powered by a three-liter V6 hybrid engine that works together with two electric motors. Combined, that setup produces 1,200 horsepower, making the F80 Ferrari's most powerful street car in history.

But it's not just the car's acceleration that impresses. The F80 can decelerate from 100 km/h to a standstill in just 28 metres, and at a speed of 200 km/h it takes 98 meters to stop the car completely. It shows that Ferrari not only focuses on speed, but also on safety.

However, Ferrari is not afraid of customers clamoring for the car. The 7-year free service package that has followed every other Ferrari for the past several years also applies to the new F80. The car otherwise has a service interval of 20,000 kilometers or one year, whichever comes first.
