The car brand Fisker has gone bankrupt in Denmark

Fisker Inc.'s Danish subsidiary, Fisker Denmark, has filed for bankruptcy at the So- og Handelsretten. The bankruptcy comes shortly after similar closures in Sweden and Norway.

Fisker Inc. is now no longer found in the Nordic region. Shortly after closures in both Sweden and Norway, the Danish subsidiary can now also declare bankruptcy.

In fact, the Danish part of the business already chose to go down at the end of June this year. This appears fromthe Stattistende .

Boosted has previously been able to tell how the car brand's premises in Hoje Taastrup have come on the market again.

The car house, originally built by a Toyota dealer, was not bought by Fisker's Danish division. Instead, it was a lease. Read more about the place here .

Technically, Fisker Inc. not bankrupt yet. But it is expected to be more or less a matter of form to get the business settled.

Most recently, Fisker has been approved for the sale of 3,200 cars to one and the same buyer. Namely the American leasing company American Lease. However, this does not mean that private Fisker owners are protected in any way.

But as part of the purchase agreement, American Lease has signed that it will keep the American owner's association FOA, Fisker Owners Association, informed about any development of the cars' software and what will happen to spare parts.
