That's how expensive the headlights for a Bugatti Chiron are

Fortunately, both the Bugatti Chiron and its W16 engine are on their way to the grave. But that doesn't mean cheap spare parts. In Poland, there is a set at an outrageously high price.

Bugatti can afford to take anything for a car. And for that matter the parts for it. And that's actually why the brand does it.

So they take what they want for both car and spare parts. For example, have you ever considered how much a set of headlights for a Chiron alone costs? Well, right? They are hardly cheap. More on that in a moment.

Because there is much else on a Chiron that costs the box office. And that even after the car has rolled off the assembly line. Every 14 months the oil must be changed. It costs DKK 171,000.

Every four years, the brakes, brake fluid, turbos (yes, there are four of them, ed.) must be replaced along with the gas tank. Price? Just under one and a half million kroner.

Then there are the rims. They should not be replaced at intervals. And luckily for that. A rim alone costs no less than DKK 343,000. The tires, which are specially manufactured by French Michelin, cost DKK 437,000 for a set.

On the other hand, both Bugatti and the tire manufacturer guarantee that, in many ways, the black gold can hold up to a top speed of over 400 km/h.

And then there's that thing with the headlights. A seller in Poland via eBay claims to have such a set lying around. But that person is certainly not letting them go for free.

In fact, once the tax is deducted, you can get a brand new Porsche 911 for the same money. The lights, which can be fitted to both the Super Sport 300+ and the Pur Sport version of the Chiron, cost up to 147,000 euros. At today's exchange rate, that is just under 1.1 million Danish kroner.

Then there is the shipping. The seller would like to send the headlights all over Europe (minus Ukraine and Russia, ed.). It will cost another 1,100. So 8,210 Danish kroner. Shipping to countries outside Europe is also an option, but no price has been specified here.

However, it is worth noting that the headlights are sold as original parts. With serial number and everything. The headlights have the serial numbers: 5B4941035C 5B4941036C. Mind you, we have not called Bugatti to confirm the authenticity of these figures.
