We test the BMW X6! You know, the back-firing SUV thug that thinks it's a sports car? The BMW X6 is a success abroad, and that can sometimes be hard to understand.
Are you looking for a luxury car that gives the finger to Janteloven? Then the third generation BMW X6 is an obvious choice. The giant kidneys that were introduced on the latest 7 Series sit proudly at hip height and make the car look like a well-padded predator with snorting nostrils. Also at night, BMW offers LED backlighting of the flashy charcoal grill on the optional extras list, Bil Magasinet writes. 
The BMW X6 is more expensive than an X5 From the rear, it is less dominant. The transverse slits and the wide rear lights make the rear look like the round face of the Michelin man. Under the tailgate, you will find a high platform for your luggage – and with a sloping roofline, the cargo space is relatively small. The X6 is more expensive, has less cabin space and no practical two-part tailgate compared to its technical twin BMW X5, so what's so appealing about it? 
The X6 was mocked for its coupe shape The BMW X6 came in 2008 as the first luxury SUV with a coupe profile. The car type was mocked, but it was BMW who could laugh the loudest. Globally, more than 443,000 X6s have been sold, and today Audi, Mercedes and Porsche all have a coupé SUV in the family. The BMW importer has sent a model in top form on a charm offensive to the editorial office. My stored bile is diluted as soon as I slam the heavy front door, and silence spreads in the cabin. 
It's like sitting in a tall BMW 5 series upgraded from business to first class. The comfort seats in the test car are upholstered in the bloodiest, thickest leather, and they hug you when I wake up the V8 engine and activate the Sport program. The 4.4-liter V8 engine with biturbo hums smoothly and more quietly than in the full-blooded model X6 M – or a similar V8-engined monster from AMG. Practical if you don't want to wake the neighbor every morning.
