A fanatical Tesla owner didn't think other electric car owners were allowed to use Tesla's charging network, so he called the police.
At the beginning of March, Tesla fully opened the network of Supercharger charging stations for the other car brand in agreement with Rivian.
However, not everyone has received that message. And at a charging station in California, it was about to go wrong between a Tesla owner and a driver behind the wheel of a Rivian.
The man in the Rivian parked – just as he can now – in front of a Tesla Supercharger and connected the car to the electricity. But a Tesla owner who passed by the same charging station at the same moment would not agree.
The Rivian owner says so in a thread on the forum Rivian Owners Forum .

The driver of the Tesla, an 'older man in a Model Y', according to the Rivian owner, went completely crazy when he saw another car with a different logo connected to the charging station.
In fact, the elderly man went so mad at the sight that he chose to call the police to have the Rivian removed from the scene.
– Completely perplexed by the situation, I hastened to disconnect my car, get behind the wheel and make my way, writes the Rivian owner.
– When I cut my way, I saw him (the Tesla owner, ed.) talking angrily on the phone. Presumably with a completely innocent person at the alarm center. So much for the stereotype of the friendly and very laid-back electric car owner, writes the Rivian owner.
