Tesla investor: People are welcome to smash my Model S

Not all investors are fully supportive of Tesla and Elon Musk's management style. A major investor is now saying that people are welcome to smash her car.

Whether she will regret it, we can't say. But at least Tesla investor Joanne Wilson has openly said that people should smash her Model S.

Or – she wrote it on her blog, Gotham Gal .

Here she not only rages at Elon Musk, whom she calls a 'typical tech guy with no respect for people'. She also talks about how difficult it is to get rid of a Tesla.

The Wilson family has owned several Teslas and been among the largest investors in Tesla. But there are many indications that that is now over.

And then they have to eat the loss on the cars. For example, Joanne Wilson says that she just traded in one of her Teslas for a newer Volvo. Here, the dealer would only give her $2,000, equivalent to just under 14,000 kroner, in exchange for the car.

People are smashing all the Teslas and burning down charging stations

However, the Wilson family also has another Tesla they want to get rid of. And it's here that Joanne Wilson herself suggests that they park the car outside in front of the family's business in New York.

Here, people can come by with a hammer and smash the car. And although it may seem like an idea seized upon in a moment of frustration, it has actually happened.

Just not for the Wilson family. At least not yet. But last week, a man in Seattle took matters into his own hands and started smashing his Model S.

However, he admitted to various media outlets that he had only bought the car to smash it in protest against Elon Musk and what he believes is Tesla's 'support for fascists'.

Elon Musk himself calls what is happening right now a left-wing campaign. However, the police have not been able to prove what is behind the various attacks on Tesla in the US. At least not yet.

Conversely, not everyone escapes vandalism. Recently, a man set himself on fire when he tried to burn down some of the car brand's charging stations. Read more about it here .
