Tesla in huge round of layoffs – every 10 lose their jobs

Worldwide, Tesla has around 140,000 employees. In an internal email, director Elon Musk writes that there is nothing he hates more than firing people.

Just like virtually all other car brands, Tesla is under pressure for business. And this now has consequences for the brand's employees.

Worldwide, Tesla has just over 140,000 employees, and in an internal email director Elon Musk states that he will cut 10 percent of them.

This is written by Automobilewoche .

This corresponds to just over 14,000 positions. Who will be fired, or how Tesla intends to approach the round of layoffs, remains to be seen.

Automobilewoche adds that a good 10,000 people work at Tesla's factory on the outskirts of Berlin. But here too it is not known whether positions will be cut.
