Tesla again lowers the price significantly in Denmark

Since June 2022, Tesla's charging network – the so-called Superchargers – has been open for all other electric car owners to use. Now it will be cheaper.

Tesla lowers the price for using their charging network. The so-called Superchargers.

In a press release, Tesla's Nordic press department states that it will now be cheaper to have membership-based access to the charging network.

Because it cost DKK 99 per month. Now Tesla believes that it should cost 75 kroner per month. The membership is something that anyone with an electric car can buy.

In return, Tesla keeps the price of electricity lower than what drivers without a membership have to pay to charge.

But Tesla owners are automatically included. If you would rather pay once a year, Tesla gives a 16 percent discount, says Maria Lentz, who manages Tesla's communications in the Nordics.

Tesla itself states that drivers must ensure that their Tesla app is updated to version 4.32 or later, for the reduced price to be registered.

The car brand's charging network is one of the largest globally. Tesla has already succeeded in setting up more than 14,000 charging stations in Europe alone. They are approximately distributed in 1,100 locations around the continent.
