Japanese Suzuki has established that there are problems with the fuel pump in the small Jimny. This can ultimately mean that the engine has nothing to live on.
There are problems with the fuel supply in the small Suzuki Jimny.
Specifically, the Japanese have come to the conclusion that the impeller inside the fuel pump can eventually become so deformed that the pump stops working altogether.
So far, the Japanese believe that the fault may be in over 21,000 cars that have been sent around to markets around the world.
That's what CarExpert writes.

In Germany alone, KBA, which is a counterpart to the Norwegian Transport Agency, estimates that 4,609 cars can drive around with the problematic fuel pump, if the cars have not already been removed.
Suzuki adds that the fault has been narrowed down to a period on the assembly line between 12 November 2018 and 7 September 2019. For the same reason, the cars' chassis numbers are within the following combination: JSAGJB74V00108102 to JSAGJB74V00126939.
When the cars are recalled, Suzuki technicians will go through each individual fuel pump and replace them if necessary. The Japanese themselves estimate that it will take approximately 2 hours to replace one fuel pump.
Errors that lead to recalls happen at regular intervals. Some car owners will probably say too often. For example, those at Kia who now have to hand in their e-Soul for the second time because the brand could not fix the error in the first instance.Read more about it here .
Honda also deals with defective fuel pumps. But unlike Suzuki, so many Hondas have been recalled that the brand fears going to market for spare parts. Read more about it here .
