Stupidity in front of a police car costs an 18-year-old a brand new choir card

Monday at At 15.45 there was nothing to do for an 18-year-old driver who made an illegal overtaking in Kyse outside Næstved.

The choir card is not a human right. In fact, the privilege is only on loan, as long as you follow the state's rules of the game. In this case the traffic law.

A mere 18-year-old motorist had to admit that on Monday, when an officer saw him make a hammering illegal overtake on Kyse Bygade in Kyse outside Næstved.

This is what the South Zealand and Lolland-Falster Police write in the police report .

The officer had observed the 18-year-old overtaking and cutting across a fully extended barrier line. Normally, that sort of thing would make one cut.

Which was also the case here. But because the 18-year-old is a new driver, i.e. driving around with a driving license that is less than three years old, the maneuver triggers an immediate driving ban.

Now you don't just have to pay a fine to the treasury. A choir teacher must also have money to send the young driver to a new theory and choir test.

The 18-year-old from the edge of Næstved can, however, take pride in the fact that the choir card is not impossible to get again. The situation is immediately different with an 18-year-old man from Stevns.

On Monday of this week, the police came after his mother's Tesla, which he was last behind the wheel of in February. Read more about it here.
