Since 2019, in the country's 12 police districts, it has been possible to order an officer or a photo van to move out to keep an eye on traffic. And it's still popular.
On Tuesday afternoon between 14:39 and 16:00, the police moved out with a photo van on Yderholmvej in Lille Skensved on Zealand.
The road is a 40-zone, but many motorists had a hard time with that. Of the 365 cars that drove past the photo van, 101 were flashed.
Of those, the police believe that 36 cards so strongly that the owners now face a cut in the choir card in addition to the stall. The fastest driver passed the photo van at 67 km/h. Enough for a fine of DKK 4,200, a contribution to the Victim Fund of DKK 500 and a conditional suspension of the choir card.
According to the police, the fact that the photo van was just standing on Yderholmvej in Lille Skensved on Tuesday is due to a citizen's inquiry.
