Married couple Andy and Mary Ann will be buried in their rare Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H. However, the car has been standing still since the 1980s.
Only a few come close to it, the couple Andy and Mary Ann are chomping at the bit. Or that is to say – as the short ones say.
The car, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H, was parked sometime in 1980. Here the couple got enough of the attention that came with using the car in everyday life.
Andy tells this in the YouTube video, which you can also see below.
The Shelby GT350H came into being in 1965 following an agreement between Ford and the rental company Hertz, who would buy 1,000 custom-built Mustang models for their customers to drive around.

The cars quickly became a hit. Among other things. because they could be rented by anyone over 25 and for a 'relatively' modest amount of 17 dollars a day. When the rental company finished with the cars, they were sold on to private individuals.
Some of them were Andy and Mary Ann. The couple used the car everyday for a while, but the attention and messages from others who wanted to buy the car became too much in 1980.
So the car was put away and only found again in 2009. And although both years are really far away, the two have not done anything to the car since. However, this does not mean that the couple have been stingy with the petrol.
In fact, in their ownership, they have just over 200,000 kilometers on the car. Among other things, because they both participated in a 'rally race' that began in Beijing, China, and ended in the French capital, Paris.
Only 1,000 examples of the Ford Mustang Shelby GT350H were built. And neither Andy nor Mary Ann wants to get rid of the car.
– They can bury us in the car, says Mary Ann.
There are also no obvious heirs to take into account. The couple never had children, so the car? Yes, it will probably end up as a double coffin… sometime.
