In Ukraine, paramedics are under enormous pressure, and their ability to maneuver ambulances in war zones can be decisive for both their own survival and that of others.
Paramedics are badly needed on the battlefield in Ukraine. The paramedics expose themselves to great danger when they go from place to place. But now there is help to be had in Sweden.
In order to strengthen the skills of paramedics behind the wheel, the Swedish race track Gotland Ring has donated a specialized choir training course to the Ukrainians.
The initiative is part of a collaboration with Repower, an organization that focuses on mental health for healthcare professionals.
The choir training is designed to improve paramedics' ability to make quick decisions in stressful situations and navigate safely in dangerous areas.
– As a reserve officer in the Finnish military, it is obvious to me to support Ukraine. I call on all sections of society to contribute to the defense of Ukraine and its brave citizens who are fighting for us all.
– By assisting with this without compensation, Gotland Ring wishes to promote the defensive war effort, says Alec Arho-Havrén, co-founder and chief instructor at Gotland Ring in a press release .

– We would like to show our gratitude to Gotlandring, which has given our participants a unique opportunity in advanced driver training, in order to save even more lives on the battlefield, says Maryna Sadykova, director and co-founder of Repower.
The specific content of the training has not been published, but the goal is to increase the chances of survival for both paramedics and patients.
