And now another one has appeared. This time it is a 1:1 replica – that is, of the layout – of Istanbul Park. A place that served as a Formula 1 track between 2005 and 2020.
Complete with 14 turns, the track in Texas is however a bit shorter than the model in Turkey. Istanbul Park, designed by the legendary track man Hermann Tilke, is 5.38 kilometers long. The replica is just over 1.6 kilometers long.
It is therefore something of a compressed experience that awaits the new owner or owners. It was Thane Morgan who, in his time, had the track laid out in Texas as a private area. However, it was later opened to the public.

In 2022, the course was sold to the three Yuchinski brothers, who completely renovated the place. But now the brothers also have to move on. That's why the Amarillo Kart Complex, as the place is dubbed, is now up for sale again.
The entire glory can be acquired for the 'modest' sum of 2 million dollars, corresponding to just under 14 million Danish kroner at the current exchange rate.
