Although you wouldn't believe it, it actually happens that a Formula 1 car is let loose on public roads. In Red Bull's case, it threw off a parking ticket.
Red Bull's Formula 1 team wins almost everything they come close to. Last year, Max Verstappen single-handedly had enough points to top both the constructors' and constructors' championships.
But a good car and a fast Dutchman were not enough when the Formula 1 team returned in March for a short demonstration in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In the Balkan country's capital, there was a good enough cordon off in connection with the exhibition. But outside the cordon, the country's traffic rules still applied. Also – and not least – for a Formula 1 car.
Shortly after the show ended, someone had attached a parking stall to the Formula 1 car's halo device.

Whether it was just a PR stunt, or a very nosy police officer had actually seen the need to maintain order in the streets of Sarajevo, history does not report anything.
But should it be a real parking stall/parking tax, it should be a narrow matter for Red Bull to get it out of the world. You only have to take a look at Max Verstappen's monthly income to see that.
For many years, Mercedes was the team with the absolute most lousy chorus in the entire Formula 1 field. Namely Lewis Hamilton (who, by the way, is about to slip to Maranello and Ferrari, ed.)
But last year, Mercedes once again had to see itself surpassed by Red Bull, who in order to keep Max Verstappen until 2028 paid the Dutchman a whopping 371 million kroner. So per year…
