There aren't too many of them in Denmark already. And now the importer says only one of the last 300 Supra models is coming to Denmark.
Toyota Supra enthusiasts in Denmark will have a unique opportunity to acquire the final version of the iconic sports car. Toyota has announced that the "A90 Final Edition" of the Supra, marking the end of the fifth generation of the model, will come to Denmark in a single copy.
The Supra "A90 Final Edition" is a special edition with a number of improvements over the standard model. It is equipped with a more powerful engine that produces 435 hp and 570 Nm, as well as a number of aerodynamic updates, an adjustable KW suspension and larger wheels.
To ensure a fair distribution of the exclusive car, Toyota has opened an online waiting list at toyota.dk/grsupra.
Interested parties can sign up for the list until February 28, 2025, after which a draw will be made among the names. The lucky winner will have the opportunity to buy the last Supra.
The importer writes this in a press release .
Toyota expects to announce the price of the "A90 Final Edition" immediately after the waiting list closes. Only when the price has been announced and the buyer has approved it, the reservation is binding. The Danish delivery of the car is expected to take place this summer.
The "A90 Final Edition" differs from the standard model in a number of areas. In addition to the more powerful engine, it has received a number of upgrades that improve driving characteristics.
The special edition is equipped with an adjustable KW suspension that allows the damping to be adapted to different conditions. The steering has also been optimized and the bodywork has been reinforced to improve stability.
The "A90 Final Edition" has larger wheels and improved brakes. The tires are 10 mm wider, and the car is equipped with 19" lightweight rims at the front and 20" at the rear. The brakes have been upgraded with 19" Brembo brakes at the front with high-friction brake pads.
The special edition has received a number of aerodynamic updates that improve the car's balance and downforce. A carbon fiber front spoiler, front fenders and front flap have been added, as well as a rear spoiler from the GR Supra GT4 race car.
The cabin of the "A90 Final Edition" is characterized by exclusive materials and details. The car is equipped with red RECARO Podium CF bucket seats with Alcantara® seat cushions, and carbon fiber and Alcantara® are used in the interior.
The Toyota Supra "A90 Final Edition" is a unique car, with only 300 units produced worldwide. It is a rarity for one of these units to come to Denmark. Interested Supra enthusiasts should therefore sign up for the waiting list before it closes on February 28th.
Last year, only one new Supra was registered in Denmark. In comparison, the Japanese sold 13,278 other cars in Denmark.
The Supra, which is now finished, has not only had limited success in Denmark. Overall, Toyota has actually sold more hydrogen cars in Europe than copies of the BMW-developed sports car.
That said, it doesn't seem to be stopping the Japanese from continuing on the Supra path. There has been a lot of speculation lately about what the next car will actually look like.
But because Toyota has not officially said anything about the successor, everything from here on remains speculation. However, the Japanese are sticking to their collaboration with BMW. This means, among other things, that the Germans will have their first series-produced hydrogen car on the streets in 2028.
