Morso municipality has previously acknowledged that there are problems with worn asphalt. It can cost drivers wild stalls. But now a solution is on the way.
Technically speaking, the police can hand out a fine of 2,000 kroner and a cut in the traffic ticket every time a motorist is trafficked.
But then the Central and West Jutland Police would have nothing else to do. Because it often happens in Nykobing Mors at the moment. In other words, motorists are afraid of clutter. If they don't hold still for five minutes for the same messy lights.
The problem is caused by asphalt that is so worn that it goes beyond the sensors that regulate the light regulation itself. And there are many motorists who do not have time to wait for that.
But now Morso Municipality, which is responsible for the worn roads, is announcing that an unloading is on the way. The work starts this week and must ensure 'improvement of light regulation through Nykobing'.

Among other things, the municipality will replace coils and set up radar solutions at several intersections to help motorists move on.
– It will help with the detection of cars, so that the signal better adapts to the traffic, the municipality states in a Facebook post .
Morso Municipality expects the work to improve the light regulation, so that motorists do not stand at wild stalls, to be completed on 12 April this year.
