Probably stole a car with a USB plug – so he got it wrong

The police were called to a burning car with the bottom in the air. But no people were found inside it.

In the US, certain Kia owners are more prone to theft than others. Their cars are simply too easy to steal. A solar USB plug is required. Read more about it here .

But on Sunday it went completely wrong, because a car thief broke into a Kia Spectra and drove away. But he didn't get very far, because things went wrong.

According to the authorities in the county of Tillamook County, located in the state of Oregon, the owner of the Kia lives just 8 kilometers from where things went horribly wrong for the car thief.

The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office writes in a post on Facebook .

All because he, the car thief, ignored several 'road closed ahead' warning signs. Because the road is closed to that extent. The Korean railway has simply collapsed.

However, the Kia thief did not discover this, because it was far too late. The Spectra ended up with the wheels in the air and on fire. But there was no trace of the thief when the rescue team arrived.

According to Tillamook County police, there are constant problems with drivers blowing through roadblocks in the area. And some of them pay cruelly for it.

The theft of Kias is something else Americans are fighting against. The importer has actually recalled the affected cars. But not all cars have been through a workshop yet.
