Preben is reaching out for drivers who do not understand the law of insanity

It comes to such an extent that Venstre's legal spokesman Preben Bang Henriksen is saying that motorists still do not understand the consequences of crazy traffic.

Quite shortly after the law on insanity was introduced back in March 2021, the politicians at Christiansborg have announced further tightening.

And after Denmark's most talked-about Lamborghini was impounded in October 2021, it came to the extent that Venstre's judicial spokesman Preben Bang Henriksen has failed to understand the message.

He tells this to TV2 Nord .

In his time, he helped to introduce the rules, which he was somewhat shocked that the motorists did not understand.

– There are very many, says the court spokesman, referring to the cars that the police had already seized in 2021 for speeding. He continues:

– And I am perhaps most surprised, to put it bluntly, that it has not been realized what the consequences of this are.

– One thing is that we toughened the punishment. But for most, the most serious consequence is probably having a car confiscated.

Since then, the topless Lamborghini has both been confiscated and then sold. The new owner is just 27 years old. Read more about it here .

There are indications, however, that the drivers, as Preben Bang Henriksen pointed out, have still not understood the rules.

Recently, the district court in Næstved confiscated a particularly potent Audi. And it is most likely the first time ever that the Danish state owns such a car. However, another copy is already short in the trap. Read more about both cases here .
