With the new and even sportier GTS models, Porsche now completes the extensive Cayenne range.
Since the 1960s, the GTS designation has been associated with the most sporty and Korean-oriented from Porsche's range of street models. The three letters – which stand for Gran Turismo Sport – date all the way back to the 904 Carrera GTS street racer from 1963, and in 2007 the Cayenne became the first model in the modern era to revive the concept. Today, the designation is used across the model range – and now also on the latest Cayenne, which was presented in 2023.
Upgraded choral dynamics
The special GTS chassis, which is lowered by 10 millimeters and equipped with components from the extreme Cayenne Turbo GT on the front axle, makes the body dynamics even sharper. Adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) are standard, as is Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).
All chassis components and systems, such as Porsche Traction Management (PTM) and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC, optional equipment) are specifically adapted to the GTS concept for optimal performance.

In addition to the fine-tuned dynamic elements, the new Cayenne GTS also features an optimized version of the well-known and popular 4.0-liter V8 with biturbo. The powerful petrol engine – developed and produced in Zuffenhausen, Stuttgart – now develops 500 horsepower and a torque of 660 Newton meters, which is an increase in power of 40 horsepower and 40 Newton meters compared to its predecessor.
The 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission has also been trimmed and now delivers even faster shift times in the Sport or Sport Plus core programs. These optimizations of the engine and gearbox enable the four-door, spacious sports car to sprint from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 4.4 seconds, while the top speed is 275 kilometers per hour.

Another technical feature that also strengthens the new Cayenne GTS is that the transmission unit, which transfers the power to the four-wheel drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM), has its own independent water cooling system – a feature also adopted from the Cayenne Turbo GT. This stabilizes the transmission's load capacity under extreme conditions, such as track crossing or crossing challenging terrain.
Even more sporting attitude
Every GTS model from Porsche is recognizable thanks to a unique, sporty design. This of course also applies to the new Cayenne GTS, which can be spotted on its special front with larger air intakes, dark-toned front and rear lights (HD matrix LED headlights are standard), red brake calipers and discreet black GTS emblems.
The Sport Design package is standard, which includes, among other things, black-painted side skirts, window moldings and fender flares. In addition, the exhausts – which on previous GTS models were black – appear in a special dark bronze, while 21-inch RS Spyder wheels in anthracite gray complete the special GTS look.

In the cabin, you will find a heated GT sports steering wheel as standard, while the interior is covered in the suede-like Race-Tex material, which, among other things, covers the armrests, back sides and the center pieces of the deep and 8-way adjustable sports seats.
On the Cayenne GTS Coupé, a panoramic glass roof is also standard, and finally, there is the option of choosing two GTS-specific interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Gray Neo.
