On Lordag, a crazy driver announced himself when he turned around and knocked on the door to the warehouse of the photo van that had flashed him.
In the first instance, it wasn't actually the speed that it was crazy about, although a crazy driver actually drove too fast past a photo van in Gladsaxe.
About 10 minutes after the flash had been drawn, the crazy driver turned around to ask how fast he had cards.
And it was during this conversation that the operator in the photo van became aware that something else could be wrong. The man smelled strongly of alcohol.
Therefore, a patrol from Copenhagen's Vestegns Police was asked to go to the scene with a breathalyzer. And then it got really serious.

Shortly after the arrival of the patrol, the driver blew the breathalyzer well above the limit of insanity, the police district says in a post on Facebook .
The blood alcohol limit in such cases has been 2.0, ever since the law on driving by insanity was introduced in March 2021. Therefore, the man was immediately charged with driving by insanity.
The crazy driver protested quite a bit about that. But Copenhagen's Vestegns Police assess that both the ATK operator and the ATK car's image of him behind the wheel are such credible witnesses that the charges and seizure of the car can be upheld.
The man who revealed himself to be a crazy driver is far from the first to sing with far too much alcohol in his blood. In fact, the National Police's own calculations show that the vast majority of reckless drivers are stopped because they have drunk too much.
As early as 2022, the vast majority of Denmark's police circles told a roundtable that the crazy drivers who have drunk too much are the ones who are stopped most often.
