Now Volvo apologizes for defective cars

It is true that some customers have returned their cars. But it's 'a very small number,' says Volvo. However, the car brand apologizes for the faulty cars.

It is true enough that some customers have new cars so full of faults that Volvo has taken them back.

The brand confirms this to Vi Bilägare .

However, Volvo claims to have fixed the vast majority of what owners have complained about with software updates.

But that does not change the fact that some – e.g. EX30 owners – have had such bad experiences with their cars that dealers have had them thrown straight back. And that the purchases are subsequently cancelled.

Volvo Cars, they say, would like to regret that. It is, among other things, customers in Sweden and England who have sent the cars back. It is not known whether there are Danes among the EX30 owners who have canceled the purchase.

However, the owners report everything from assistant systems not working to the car's infotainment going black. The screen simply goes into a sales demo mode, removing all functionality. Not even the speedometer or the built-in digital clock work.

One of the EX30 owners affected by the problems is Martin. However, he has been creative and covered the car to avoid i.a. false alarms. Read more about it here .
