Just because BMW says 550 horsepower is enough. Isn't that the same as being right. Just ask the folks at G-Power.
German G-Power has done it again. In other words, taking an already insane car and making it just a little more insane. That is, when we talk about potency.
Say hello to a BMW M4 CSL with 720 horsepower.
In fairness, there are three ways to upgrade the 3-liter inline-six in the CSL. Three steps if you will.
The first stage is called GP-620, and is – as the name suggests – an option to raise the output to 620 horsepower. A total of 800 Nm must be added to that. Here, G-Power is actually satisfied with changing the engine management and the rear part of the exhaust system.

The next step is the GP-670. And yes, you have probably already guessed that there are 670 horsepower and 800 Nm under your right foot. However, it will be really fun with the whole package first.
All 720 horsepower and 850 Nm trigger an electronic speed limiter at 320 km/h and a completely new exhaust system. Among other things with a 200-cell sports catalytic converter.
The bad news? Yes, there are actually two. Because regardless of which kit you choose, it's an expensive game. And then there are not unimaginably many M4 CSLs to build on. BMW already said when the car came out in 2022 that it will only build 1,000 copies.
G-Power are far from the only ones who think that even the factory converted performance cars are tame enough. In fact, there is so much to write about this sort of thing that we here at Boosted have a whole category dedicated to it. Read many more cool stories full of horsepower here .
