German G-Power has found far more horsepower in the current M3 than BMW thinks the car should have.
The BMW M3 CS is the ultimate M3. At least when this kind of thing has to come from the factory. But there is actually more to come.
The German tuner G-Power has just proved that. The news comes shortly after BMW has revealed the next BMW in the line. A car that for the first time ever got a hybrid package.
With 727 horsepower, the M5 is the most potent of its kind to date. But the car is also the heaviest M5 ever.
G-Power's M3, the G3M CS Bi-Turbo, is just 7 horsepower short of being as potent as the upcoming M5. On the other hand, it lacks 150 Nm to reach the M5's 1,000 newton metres.

That said, G-Power hasn't actually mentioned anything about how fast the GP-720, as the car is called, is. But for comparison, we can mention that the factory car needs 3.2 seconds to go from 0 to 100 km/h and that it does not stop pulling, because the speedometer shows 302 km/h.
Then there is the whole visual side of things. G-Power is sticking with the optional Hurricane RR and Hurricane RS wheels. At their largest, they measure a full 20×10.5" on the rear axle.
Naturally, there is also all the carbon fiber you can think of. Below on the bonnet, the diffuser, the rear spoiler, the steering wheel (as an option, ed.), the lower lip, the side skirts, the engine cover… and we could go on.
In the end, it's all about the price. And for once, there is no secrecy involved. G-Power must have exactly 37,723 euros for the conversion of the car alone.
This corresponds to 282,000 Danish kroner. But the installation is also included in the price. What you then have to give for the car itself is a completely different matter.
