Now he defends Kevin Magnussen after criticism

Kevin Magnussen has fallen foul of many who do not like the Dane's way of driving in Formula 1. Now his teammate, Nico Hulkenberg, is defending him.

Kevin Magnussen is right on the border.

The Dane is only a few points away from being banned from a Formula 1 race due to the many penalty points he has accumulated.

Magnussen's car has also attracted criticism from both team managers and the rest of the field of Formula 1 drivers, but now teammate Nico Hulkenberg jumps in with a defense.

Because, as Hulkenberg says in an interview ahead of this weekend's lob in Italy, he doesn't understand all the fuss surrounding K-Mag.

– Everyone knows that Kevin Magnussen is one of the hardest guys to overtake among the choirs, and I don't understand all the fuss about it, to be honest, says Hulkenberg according to Motorsport Week .

At the same time, K-Mag's German teammate believes that today one will be able to look at several of the situations Magnussen has been punished for and come to a different conclusion.

– I think we could revisit some of it and probably restructure it, says Hulkenberg, who from next season can be found in the Sauber garage.

However, Nico Hulkenberg is not the only driver in the current Formula 1 field who has jumped to the defense of the Dane. In the McLaren garage, Kevin Magnussen's car is called 'clever'. Read more about how it is connected here .
