Even though in 2017 the people behind it tried to launch a new car – the Saleen S1 – in China. In fact, they already tried in 2014 with a tuned Tesla Model S – Saleen FourSixteen.
And now the Americans are making another attempt. This is what the partners behind the project – Saleen and Solution F – write in a press release .

Plans for a street-legal supercar with a hydrogen combustion engine were physically presented at this year's Le Mans.
– We believe that the long-term solution for transport will be multifaceted, where hydrogen and synthetic fuels are the future of environmentally friendly engines, says Steve Saleen in the press release.
It will be French Solution F that will supply the hydrogen engine with twin turbos for the street car that Saleen will build.
And the partners will not actually say more yet. But interestingly, the Saleen is actually already racing at Le Mans this year. However, not as participants in the 24-hour race. But they have taken a racing car with a 6.2-liter V8 engine to France anyway. That car also burns hydrogen.
Much apropos of Le Mans, it is filled with a record number of Danish participants this year. That is, on the circuit Circuit de la Sarthe. Among other things, the field's fifth-youngest man ever. Read more about it here .
