Muscle cars can't run on electricity, drivers say

According to a new survey, 56 percent of American drivers believe that Dodge's bid for an electric Charger has nothing to do with a muscle car.

The new Charger Daytona may look like its predecessor, but the name, which covers a new electric car, has nothing to do with a muscle car.

This is shown by a new study that American Muscle is behind.

Here, as many as 56 percent of the Americans surveyed answered that an electric Dodge Charger can never become a real muscle car.

American Muscle has asked 1,001 American drivers about their opinion on the new Charger on strom. 46 percent of them own or have owned a muscle car. The rest have never had a muscle car before.

Nevertheless, the majority agree that a real muscle car cannot run on electricity. Right now, the majority just don't really have a choice, that is, other than at Ford.

Both Dodge and Chevrolet have taken the lives of their competitors: the Camaro, Challenger and Charger, at least with a V8 engine.

Conversely, Ford promises that there will always be room for the recipe on which these cars are built in the model range.

– We have always been here with the Mustang. We have the EcoBoost engine, and we have the new Dark Horse (with V8 engine, ed.). And we keep investing in it.

“Even if we become the only people on the planet to build an affordable V8-powered sports car,” the brand's managing director Jim Farley said back in January.

Back to the 'muscle car' on strom. If it's sound that new Daytona owners are after, they're going to be sorely disappointed. Although Dodge promises the opposite price. See for yourself in the article here .
