Such a tree rarely moves. Not even if a Maserati MC20 comes flying.
A 42-year-old man lost his life on Tuesday this week in a traffic accident, where the Maserati MC20 he was driving was cut in the middle.
According to the authorities, the circumstances must still be mapped. But already now, video footage from the scene indicates that it has gone very fast.
According to the video description and the Montgomery County Police Reporter, police were notified of the accident around 5:45 p.m. local time.
The police estimate that the car was traveling at around 160 km/h when it hit a tree and split in two. The violent collision did not throw the 42-year-old out of the car.

He was instead found in the driver's seat and immediately received first aid. But there was nothing to prove, and he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after. There was no one else in the car.
Just as no other persons were injured in connection with the accident. However, it is far from the first time that high speed in fashion with a road tree has cost lives.
Here at home, two very young people were killed when they torpedoed a road tree in Randers at very high speed last October. The collision was so violent that the car – a black Volkswagen Golf – ended up in a nearby garden.
