Mercedes E63 S – Danish tuned family mover with 820 hp

MORE TORQUE THAN BUGATTI VEYRON But as fast as the car can be when you push it, it can be just as easygoing when you put the gearbox in comfort mode and just cruise out there. I had feared that the forces would make it difficult to drive it calmly, but this is not the case. Danish Kleemann had a good grip on the neck of the Mercedes-AMG E63 S - this specimen has 820 jumps and an insane 1,315 Nm. It is quite accommodating in normal rush-hour traffic, but the constant and slightly growling sound always reminds that the crazy torque of 1,315 Nm at 3,400 rpm lurks just below the surface. And just to put the moment in perspective, it is a bit more than a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 can perform. OVER 320 KM/H AT THE TOP Again and again I allow myself to be tempted into intermediate accelerations, and each time I am amazed at how quickly the speedometer needle climbs the scale as the fuel pours through the system. A standard E 63 S is stated at 9.5 km/l, and a good guess is that this car uses a bit more fuel. According to Kleemann, the top speed is on the other side of 320 km/h. We are nowhere near these speeds during the test ride, but with the powers available, I have no doubt that it is a realistic indication.
